If you're going to be using C7, C9, or Retro Fit Screw in LED bulbs on a lighting project chances are if you buy your quality bulbs online your bulbs WILL NOT come with wire. There are a couple options for how one can go about getting light line for your bulbs. The first option is buying bulk. Bulk wire spools are a great way to make your light strings work exactly for your needs. We offer them in both C7 and C9 base options in Green, White, and sometimes Black with the following spacings; 6", 9" 12" 15", 18", 24", and 36".

There are also a two different types of wire, SPT-1 and SPT-2. These are both 18 guage wire, but the SPT-2 has thicker insulation which let your run more bulbs off one outlet. Many of our Spools have the option for both wire types.

The other option for light line is buying pre-made Christmas light stringers. Stringers, as we like to call them, are just pre made socket wire strings so you don't have to put any power plugs on them. Stringers generally come in 25', 50', and 100' lengths but it can vary from bulb type to bulb type. The general bulb spacing on these sets are 12" and sometimes 6". These style of light line are a great option for those not needing a huge roll of wire, or those of us that are not needing any sort of special length of line.
